Students Exchange Program
A couple of weeks ago, MKJB had a greet arrival from Students of ITE west of Singapore. Their arrival is to carried out a Student Exchange Program in Brunei Darussalam(MKJB). They stay in Brunei for a week which start on 11 september 2013 until 19th september 2013, ITE Singapore had send 10 students to come to Brunei to carried out this program. This program is only participated by the BKP member of MKJB including me.
Their aim to come to Brunei is to strengthen the relationship between MKJB and ITE west,Singapore as well as they want to learned about the culture and living styles of Brunei Darussalam's people.
This program is one of the function organised by the collage.
On the first day, their arrival had welcomed by Sir Yusran at the Brunei International Airport, Berakas.
And also, Sir Yusran brought them to his house for a rest and dinner before they checked-in to their rest house.

On the second day, they were also invited to come to the Coffee Bean, Seria for chilling.
Sir Yusran is the one who invited them to come that cafe.

After chilling out at the Coffee Bean, they went back to their rest house and having their nap
On the third day, they are visiting the Brunei's capital city which is Bandar Seri Begawan.

I was told that they were visiting Kg. Ayer and travel along Brunei's River (River Cruise) and also they were given opportunities to taste Bruneian Traditional Food such as Ambuyat.
During their 5th day, which is on 15th of September 2013, some of BKP member of MKJB and Singapore's Students were having a trip to Temburong. (trip to Ulu Belalong National Park)
Start our Journey using a Speed boat from Bandar Seri Begawan
then, having a breakfast at Amo,Temburong
Everyone is arrived at the Ulu Belalong National Park, Temburong
we are using a long boat which is known as Perahu Tamuai to get into the Checkpoint Camp for registering our name.
During the trip, everyone had the opportunity to walk at the Canopy Walk Tower.
This tower is higher than most of the trees that can be found in that area.

After having a great trip in Temburong, everyone is going back to Bandar Seri Begawan in the afternoon.
That was an amazing experience having this kind of trip for the first time.

bowling tounament
On the Eight day, which is the last day they will be at Kuala Belait, there were bowling tournament organised. This tournament is a tournament between MKJB's BKP and ITE students from Singapore.
The Event was held in Seria Bowling Centre
After the bowling tournament, during that night, Farewell dinner was held at Srikandi Restaurant and also, this is the last night for ITE students of Singapore to be at Kuala Belait.
During this event, Deputy Principal of MKJB also attending this farewell dinner with Singaporean students who came for this Students Exchange Program.

Last day for the ITE students in Brunei, they were leaving Brunei on 20/9/2013.

Students Exchange Program- through this program, a lots of new experience that i can gain because this is the first time for me to participate this kind of program and it does carried a lots of benefits for my life because I can learn many things about the culture of Singapore. This is the chance for us to know about other country. Lastly, I would like to say thank you to the collage after giving me the opportunities to participate this program especially Sir Yusran. I really appreciate it and after this program, i feels more confident to speak with other people in English language.
